Autism Assessment Specialists
NDIS Assessment Services
Our team of clinical psychologists provides high-quality, neuro-affirming autism assessments that help individuals and families access the supports they need through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We understand that navigating the NDIS can feel overwhelming. Our role is to make the process clearer, more empowering, and grounded in respectful, evidence-based practices.

Formal Diagnosis and Clinical Reporting
We provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments using gold-standard tools in line with the DSM-5-TR. A formal diagnosis is often a requirement for initial access to the NDIS or for plan reassessment and review.

Diagnostic Clarity
Our assessments are completed by experienced clinical psychologists use evidence based assessments and clinical interviews aligned with the DSM-5-TR. Where appropriate, we provide an autism diagnosis or provide updated diagnostic information that can be submitted as evidence for initial NDIS access or plan reviews.
Strength-Based, Individualised Approach
We use affirming language to highlight each individual’s unique abilities, interests, and challenges, providing practical recommendations that support inclusion, wellbeing, and meaningful participation.
Tailored Recommendations for Support Plans
Each report includes clear, actionable strategies that align with goals and capacity-building supports across home, school, work, and community settings, helping families and support coordinators plan for appropriate therapy, developmental supports, and assistive technologies.
Collaborative and Accessible
We work closely with individuals, families, and support teams throughout the process. Assessments can be conducted in person or via Telehealth and are written in a way that is accessible to NDIS planners and Local Area Coordinators (LACs).

Functional Capacity Reporting
We assess how autism impacts daily life across the NDIS functional domains (e.g., Communication, Social Interaction, Learning, Self-Care, Mobility, and Self-Management). Reports clearly outline both strengths and support needs to assist with planning. Our reports include detailed descriptions of how autism impacts functioning across the six key NDIS domains:

-
Communication
-
Social Interaction
-
Learning
-
Mobility
-
Self-care
-
Self-management

These insights help demonstrate support needs and justify funding for therapeutic, educational, and community supports.

Strength-Based, Neuro-Affirming Language
We use language that celebrates neurodiversity. Our reports highlight strengths alongside challenges, supporting a shift away from deficit-based models and towards individualised, capacity-building approaches.
Individualised Recommendations
Each report includes tailored, practical strategies that guide NDIS goal setting and capacity-building supports. These may relate to:
-
Allied health supports (e.g., speech, OT, psychology)
-
Assistive technologies
-
Specialist behaviour interventions
-
Support worker assistance
-
Social skills development
-
Transitions (e.g., school to work)
Collaboration with Families and Support Teams
We work alongside families, support coordinators, educators, and therapists to co-create meaningful assessment outcomes that directly inform NDIS plans and reviews. We also provide clarifying letters for NDIS planners or appeal processes, where required.
NDIS Psychology Supports
We provide compassionate, neuro-affirming psychological support for autistic individuals of all ages. Our services are tailored to align with NDIS funding goals, supporting participants to build skills, navigate challenges, and thrive in ways that feel meaningful to them.

How Psychology Supports Can Be Funded by the NDIS
NDIS participants may receive psychology supports under several funding categories, typically within Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living. These supports are designed to enhance:
-
Emotional regulation
-
Social and communication skills

Adaptive behaviour
-
Relationships and community participation
-
Functional life skills
-
Mental health and wellbeing

We help individuals work toward their NDIS goals by providing both therapeutic intervention and comprehensive assessments, including those required for plan reviews or re-assessments.

Our Approach: Neuro-Affirming, Strength-Based, Individualised

-
Using evidence-based therapies (e.g., CBT, ACT, trauma-informed, emotion-focused)
